So the pentagon just released video of flight 77 slamming into the building on 9/11. after having been sued under the Freedom of Information Act (god bless it). a few things: 1) still unreliable footage. the plane is barely visible. i have a hard time believing what is supposed to be the most secure building in the world has no visual record of a jet airliner coming straight at it. 2) why the long wait? why not release it? the government said it was using the footage in its case against Zacarias Moussaoui. but public release would not hurt their case if the jury was already sequestered, right? 3) brook and i tried watching "uncovering the truth," a documentary claiming, among other things, that the WTC was brought down by strategically placed charges, and that the Pentagon was hit by something other than a jet. while i bleieve that there are many unanswered questions re: 9/11, i just can't see any motivation for such a complex scheme. occam's razor and all that. on a happier note: don't you feel safer with 6,000 troops keeping those war-like Mexicans at bay?
