So there's this series of books i like written by 2 guys: douglas preston and lincoln child. i don't really understand the dynamics of co-authoring, but they hit the nail on the head when they created FBI Special Agent Aloysius Pendergast. pretty much a rip-off of the uber-sleuth Sherlock Holmes, Pendergast has an intellect of gargantuan proportions, and an unflagging sense of decency. i was dying to read the latest installment of his adventures, entitled Dance of Death. in it, Aloysius is pitted against his younger brother Diogenes, his intellectual equal, yet lacking a moral compass. i just finished. COP OUT!!! lamelamelamelamelamelame.
